Felipe Anderson’s contract with Lazio is running down, and as negotiations over an extension hit problems, Fiorentina are preparing to pounce.

The Brazilian will turn 30 in April and he is only tied to the end of this season, so from January can begin to discuss with other clubs in preparation for becoming a free agent over the summer.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, talks to work out a new deal are faltering, as Lazio want him to take a significant pay cut.

No outfield player spends more time on the pitch than Felipe Anderson at Lazio, although he has contributed only one goal and five assists so far between Serie A and the Champions League.

Lady Radio in Florence warn that Fiorentina are ready to take advantage of the situation and tempt the forward to leave Lazio as a free agent.

This is his second stint at the Stadio Olimpico, as after the first from 2013 to 2018, he returned in 2021.
