Nico Gonzalez won’t be involved in today’s game against Puskás Akadémia FC, while Juventus continue to push to sign the Argentinean winger from Fiorentina.

Fiorentina boss Raffaele Palladino has not included Nico Gonzalez in his squad for tonight’s Conference League playoff clash against Puskás Akadémia FC.

The Argentinean winger already missed the opening Serie A game of the season against Parma last week. He’s pushing to leave the Stadio Franchi and join Juventus.

Official: Fiorentina drop Nico Gonzalez again as Juventus talks continue

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus’ director Cristiano Giuntoli sent an improved offer for Nico on Wednesday night, going from €30m to €32m, including add-ons.

The pink paper, however, claims that Fiorentina continue to demand €40m.

Nico, 26, joined Fiorentina in a €26m deal from Stuttgart in 2021.

He has 38 goals and 19 assists in 125 Serie A appearances with the Tuscans in Serie A. His contract at the Stadio Franchi runs out in June 2028.

Juventus announced Pierre Kalulu from Milan on Wednesday and are also pushing to sign Teun Koopmeiners from Atalanta.
