La Nazione report that La Viola are in the market for a central midfielder and hold Real Madrid’s Khedira as their ‘dream’ target.
However, the Florence-based publication indicate that the club are aware of the difficulty in completing such a deal, due to the cost of any move and the Germany international’s salary.

The former Palermo man, who spent the final six months of last season on loan at Torino, is seen as a favourite of Coach Vincenzo Montella’s and reportedly could be in line for a quick switch to the Artemio Franchi.
