Spartak Moscow’s Head of Communication Anton Fetisov confirms Fiorentina are in talks for Aleksandr Kokorin, with La Viola reportedly close to reaching an agreement to sign the Russian striker.

The 29-year-old has two goals in 10 appearances in all competitions so far this season and according to Italian transfer journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Fiorentina and Spartak Moscow are close to reaching an agreement for the transfer of the Russia international.

La Viola are in the lookout for a new striker after Patrick Cutrone’s return to Wolves.

According to Fiorentinanews, La Viola will try to sign West Ham loanee Felipe Anderson, if Kokorin turns down a move to the Artemio Franchi.
