Fiorentina have reportedly agreed a paid loan for Roma striker Andrea Belotti, while defender Yerry Mina is heading to Cagliari.

The Viola were seeking a forward in the January transfer window and had been rebuffed for several other options, including Inter-owned Monza youngster Valentin Carboni and Genoa star Albert Gudmundsson.

There were concerns they would need M’Bala Nzola to leave before securing Belotti, but multiple sources are now confident Il Gallo can arrive regardless.

It will be a paid loan to the end of the season from Roma, without an option to make it permanent.

Nzola could still go out on loan and seems to have interest from the Premier League, having rejected moves to lower Serie A sides.

Meanwhile, Fiorentina are also in advanced negotiations to send defender Mina to Claudio Ranieri’s Cagliari and his agent is believed to already be in Sardinia to finalise the details.

The veteran Colombia international had already been close to Cagliari over the summer before opting for Fiorentina, but has barely played.
