Fiorentina have reportedly bid €20m for Manchester United and Brazil midfielder Fred.
According to La Nazione, Fiorentina are considering Fred as an alternative to Rodrigo de Paul and Suso.
The newspaper adds the Viola have already offered close to United’s €30m valuation of the 26-year-old.
The proposal would see them pay €16m up front, with €4m to follow in bonuses and around 30 percent of any resale if he moves on for more than €20m.

Fred cost the Red Devils almost €60m when they signed him from Shakhtar Donetsk last summer.
However, he failed to hold down a first-team place, playing just 25 times in all competitions last season.
He was also left out of the squads for United’s three opening Premier League fixtures.
