Nico Gonzalez is set to join Fiorentina on a permanent €27m deal from Stuttgart, according to reports in Italy.

Sky Sport Italia correspondent Fabrizio Romano reports the Serie A side have submitted a €27m bid and are now close to securing the services of the Stuttgart’s winger who was wanted by Brighton and Tottenham.

Both Premier League clubs are not willing to raise their bids, meaning Fiorentina will soon complete the signing of the 23-year-old.

Nico Gonzalez has not agreed personal terms with Fiorentina yet, but his contract with the Tuscans is not expected to be a problem.
