According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Fiorentina and Tottenham directors met in London to discuss Dusan Vlahovic’s transfer.

The Serbian forward scored a hat-trick in La Viola’s 3-0 win over Spezia on Sunday, but he could leave the Stadio Artemio Franchi in January.

Fiorentina President Rocco Commisso announced that the 21-year-old would not extend his contract expiring in June 2023 and according to multiple reports in Italy, La Viola are trying to sell the striker in the winter transfer window.

Director Joe Barone did not deny that Vlahovic could leave Fiorentina in January.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Barone and Daniele Pradé met Tottenham’s Fabio Paratici in London last week to discuss Vlahovic’s transfer.

Serie A Highlights: Fiorentina 3-0 Spezia

Fiorentina’s request is €60-70m and talks between the two parties will continue in the coming weeks.

Juventus are also interested in securing the player’s services, but it remains to be seen whether or not the Old Lady would manage to match Fiorentina’s demands.

Vlahovic made his Serie A debut in September 2018 against Inter. He has scored 35 goals in 88 Serie A games.

He refused to sign a new €4m-a-year deal with Fiorentina despite his current €800,000 salary.

  1. Vlahovic will be great regardless of his next club. Whoever manages to sign Vlahovic will have an amazing striker! However, seeing the poor state of Piemonte Calcio and their unconvincing attack, with Morata leaving back to Atletico they need to invest and Rocco will be more than happy to give them another player.

  2. Juve could do with him, and Inter could have gotten him to replace Lukaku, but I doubt either have/had the money to buy him. Napoli don’t need him and Milan have no chance. So expect to see him – and many of the best young talents from Serie A – heading over to England.

Quite depressing to see Serie A as a feeder league now.

  3. Anything is better than to allow him go to juve, and given that Conte will need new players they will be able to play the amount Rocco wants, and not try to insert some rubbish players in exchange.

  4. Rocco, Conte and Paratici would like nothing more then to steal this jewel who would be perfect for Juve. Only chance Juve have is if the player digs his heels and refuses, however I don’t see him doing so like Locatelli did.

As a Juve fan, if I was him, take the money, go to Spur under Conte, he is perfect for him. Then his next move would demand huge dollars.
