Negotiations continue and a crunch meeting is planned for today between Fiorentina and Real Madrid over Luka Jovic.

The striker has been heavily linked with a move to the Viola over the last few days, but they are struggling to agree terms.

According to multiple sources, Jovic is enthusiastic about the idea of relaunching his career with a year at the Stadio Artemio Franchi, following in the footsteps of Dusan Vlahovic.

The 24-year-old Serbia international was purchased from Eintracht Frankfurt for €63m in 2019, but failed to make an impact at the Bernabeu.

Diario AS maintain Jovic has given the all-clear, while Relevo suggest a crunch meeting has been planned for today between the two clubs.

There are numerous sticking points, as Real Madrid want this to be a permanent transfer, or at least a loan with obligation to buy.

Fiorentina, meanwhile, are looking for a loan deal and want the Merengues to pay 50 per cent of his €5m per season net salary.
