Bologna are negotiating a new contract with Riccardo Orsolini, but he is reportedly pushing for a transfer to Fiorentina instead.
The winger had the most successful season of his career, scoring 11 goals and providing four assists in 32 Serie A appearances this term.
His current deal with Bologna is due to expire in June 2024, so he is discussing a new contract to remain at the Stadio Dall’Ara.
However, according to reports this afternoon, there has also been an approach from Fiorentina.
It is suggested he is asking for €2.2m per season wages to stay on with Bologna, but would take less for the move to Florence.
The two clubs also have to work out a transfer fee, which is believed to be in the region of €10-12m including various bonuses.
The 26-year-old is a product of the Ascoli youth academy and has played for Juventus, Atalanta and Bologna in his career.
