Fiorentina are reportedly in advanced negotiations with VfB Stuttgart for Argentina international Nicolas Gonzalez, offering €20m.
According to Sky Sport Italia, the 23-year-old has been the subject of talks for a week and they are whittling down the difference.
The offer on the table is €20m, whereas Stuttgart are calling for €23-24m, but it can be bridged with bonuses.
His versatility is a great strength, as Gonzalez plays primarily on the left wing, but can also play on the right or as a striker in a more central role.
He has a very impressive record for Argentina, two goals in five senior caps, and has pushed Angel Di Maria out of the side.
He scored six goals in 15 Bundesliga appearances this season, but has been out injured since February with a muscular tear.
