Fiorentina are in advanced talks with Milan to sign Yacine Adli for €13m, but are expected to reject Brentford’s offer for Michael Kayode.

The Viola are very active in the final few days of the summer transfer session and are still trying to bolster their midfield.

Multiple sources this afternoon including Sportitalia, Calciomercato.com and FirenzeViola.it all claim that negotiations are practically done to bring Adli to the Stadio Artemio Franchi.

It would be a loan with obligation to buy at the end of the season for a total of €13m.

Adli is not part of Milan’s plans for this term and had turned down proposals from the Premier League and Saudi Pro League, as he wanted to continue his career in Serie A.

He had been linked with Olympique Marseille.

This sale could give the Rossoneri the extra funds required to bring in Manu Kone from Borussia Monchengladbach.

Adli and Kayode part of Fiorentina future

Meanwhile, Sky Sport Italia also report that Fiorentina are set to snub an incoming proposal from Brentford for full-back Kayode.

He just turned 20 last month and is an Italy Under-21 international, as well as a product of the Viola youth academy.

Kayode attracted interest from several Premier League sides, including Bournemouth and Newcastle United.
