Daniele Prade says Fiorentina 'trusted Leicester City' over Yohan Benalouane, but is disappointed as he still hasn't recovered.
The sporting director spoke to the Press after the Viola's unsatisfying 1-1 against Verona, which represents a serious setback in their campaign for third place.
“It can happen over the course of a season,” he told the Press. “We need to recover our mental strength, but we're confident.
“Some players may be tired. It's understandable that Gonzalo would be benched.

“We're not giving up on the Champions League dream, there are still many points to be won.
“[Khouma] Babacar is young and always shows great effort. The lads deserve to be supported. The fans are disappointed and so are we.”
Prade was then asked about Yohan Benalouane, who was signed on a loan from Leicester City in January but still hasn't seen a minute of playing time due to his sciatica.
“This is turning into a chronic problem. We'll speak with Leicester City and with the player and we'll see what decisions must be taken. They told us that he was fine and we trusted them.”
