Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis is reportedly confident that his improved offer for Giacomo Raspadori will be enough to convince Sassuolo.

The Partenopei are working desperately to pick up the 22-year-old Italian forward this summer, identifying him as the perfect reinforcement to their rejuvenated squad. The departures of familiar faces like Lorenzo Insigne and Dries Mertens has pushed De Laurentiis into signing younger options, refreshing the team and starting a new cycle.

As reported by Daniele Longo of Calciomercato.com, Napoli have proposed an offer of a fixed €28m plus €5m in add-ons, €3m of which are easily attainable, for Raspadori and they’re now waiting for Sassuolo’s response.

The 22-year-old has already agreed to a four-year contract worth €2.5m net per season with the Partenopei and he’s excited for the move. His agent Tullio Tinti is now in constant contact with Giovanni Carnevali in an attempt to get the deal across the line.

Napoli are feeling optimistic and believe that Raspadori could be available for the season opener against Hellas Verona on August 15.
