Arkadiusz Milik is set to land in Turin today to complete his transfer from Olympique Marseille to Juventus.
The 28-year-old Polish forward became the Bianconeri’s primary target after Memphis Depay’s incredible wage demands proved impossible to overcome, forcing them to look elsewhere. Milik is a proven goalscorer in Serie A, having netted 38 goals in 93 leagues games for Napoli.
As detailed by Gianluca Di Marzio, Juventus have agreed a deal with Marseille that’ll see them pay €1m for the loan and €7m if they want to activate the buy option, plus add-ons.
Sources tell Football Italia that Milik is set to arrive in Turin today to complete the move, keen to be integrated into Massimiliano Allegri’s squad as soon as possible.
The 28-year-old striker will undoubtedly provide a slight boost to the Juventus attack, but it’s hard to imagine him helping resolve their issues in possession, something that was widely mocked after their recent 0-0 draw with Sampdoria.
Not sure he’s the answer. Barely scored in the French league which even made Kean look like Van Basten. I hope to be surprised.
I remember him like quality striker in serie a, its much more clever signing than this not motivated depay who wants only our money
Depay could be disaster, Milik is an average striker. Morata would be the best.
