Napoli have reportedly become the latest club to emerge in the race for France midfielder Adrien Rabiot following his departure from Juventus.

The 29-year-old midfielder is currently a free agent after his contract with the Old Lady came to an end at the start of this month. The club are keen to retain his services, but he still hasn’t responded to their latest contract offer yet.

Juventus are facing competition from Real Madrid for Rabiot, who was briefly targeted by Milan before they switched focus to other targets like Alvaro Morata. Manchester United are also said to be keen on the 29-year-old.

Napoli on Rabiot

La Repubblica via TMW claims that Napoli have now decided to enter the race for Rabiot, interested in adding another important reinforcement to Antonio Conte’s squad in the Campania capital.

The French midfielder expects a lofty salary of at least €7m net per season plus add-ons, which would make him one of the highest paid players in the Partenopei squad.

  1. We’ll never be able to compete with top European clubs ever again. Serie A is dead and Italians killed it themselves.
