Italian Football Federation chief Giancarlo Abete has no concerns about losing Azzurri boss Cesare Prandelli to Inter.

Reports over the last few weeks are suggesting that the Nerazzurri would like the national boss to take over from Andrea Stramaccioni at the end of the season.

Abete, however, has told Sky Sport Italia that he expects the former Fiorentina” data-scaytid=”12″>Fiorentina Coach to remain for the 2014 World Cup campaign.

“I read the newspapers,” Abete stated. “However, I’m not aware of anything despite all of these rumours.

“It’s pointless in talking about such an hypothesis. Prandelli is contracted to us after he signed a four-year deal and I talk to him often.”

Prandelli took charge of the national side in the summer of 2010 after the country’s disastrous World Cup in South Africa.

The tactician has revived the fortunes of the Azzurri, but he has admitted that he misses the day-to-day life of club football.
