Reports in Italy claim FIGC Prosecutor Giuseppe Chinè opened an investigation after former Juventus director Luciano Moggi was spotted watching a game of the Bianconeri’s U19 squad against Napoli from pitch side.

Moggi, a former Juventus director, was banned for life after the Calciopoli scandal in 2006 so, he is not allowed anywhere near pitches during official matches.

Nevertheless, the 85-year-old was spotted watching a Primavera match between Napoli and Juventus from pitch side on January 14, leading FIGC Prosecutor Chinè to open an investigation.

According to Gazzetta, Chinè has already spoken to Juventus Primavera director Gianluca Pessotto, a former defender of the Old Lady, and could soon question Napoli directors, considering that it was a home fixture for the Partenopei.

Moggi is a former director of Torino and Napoli and joined Juventus in 1994, remaining in charge until the Calciopoli scandal in 2006.

In December, he spoke during Juventus’ shareholders’ meeting, being a minority shareholder in the club.
