The Italian Technical Scientifical Committee met the heads of football and basketball federations trying to draw a path that would lead fans to be back in stadiums in spring.

A new meeting is expected to take place in 10-15 days.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport the FIGC is considering a plan for fans to be back in stadiums in spring and at Euro 2020.

If the number of COVID cases in the country remains under control over the next few months, a maximum of 1,000 fans could be allowed in stadiums in spring, while a maximum of 30% stadium capacity could be set for EURO 2020 in the summer.

Four games of the tournament will be played at Rome’s Stadio Olimpico where Italy will face Turkey, Switzerland and Wales in the group stage.

A quarter final will be played at the same venue on July 3.
