Paul Pogba says winning a fifth consecutive Scudetto is 'only down to Juventus', and swats down rumours of a transfer.

The 22-year-old seemed unimpressed by the strengthening of squads like those of Milan and Inter, and he told La Gazzetta dello Sport that the Bianconeri's will would make or break their victory.

“If we want to, we can win the fifth consecutive title,” he said. “Because we know how things work here at Juventus.

The 22-year-old seemed unimpressed by the strengthening of squads like those of Milan and Inter, and he told La Gazzetta dello Sport that the Bianconeri's will would make or break their victory.

“It's only down to us. The Champions League final belongs to the past now, it's got nothing to do with the season that's about to begin.

“[Coach Max] Allegri is right in saying that we have to wipe a clean slate, but if we've been able to win four Scudetti in a row it means we've been used to thinking that way for a long time.

“The other top Italian teams have been used to seeing Juventus ahead of everyone else for so long, it makes sense that sooner or later they'll hunger to get back to victory.

“They'll have a greater fighting spirit, and for this very reason we have to be more focused and do more.”

Finally, the Frenchman was asked whether he would leave Juventus as well.

“Vidal did well in going to Bayern, but I'm here and I don't think about the transfer market, only about the pitch.

“It's the only thing that matters for me. Am I staying at 100%? You see me, here I am.”
