They purchased the full-back from Feyenoord in the summer of 2017 for €16m, but considering salary and depreciation, the Corriere dello Sport insists this would still represent a profit of €2m.

Karsdorp was loaned back to Feyenoord in August and has found his old self, scoring two goals and contributing five assists in 24 competitive games.
It seems to have been enough to convince the Dutch club to buy him back permanently.
