Feyenoord assistant coach John de Wolf celebrated the team’s crucial Europa League win over Lazio with a tattoo.

The Eredivisie outfit needed to beat the Biancocelesti to secure a spot in the knock-out stages of the competition, being three points behind entering the match day, and they succeeded in front of their more than 40,000 adoring supporters. Feyenoord edged out a 1-0 win over Lazio at De Kuip, sending the fans wild and taking them to the top of Group F.

As highlighted by Corriere dello Sport, Feyenoord assistant coach De Wolf celebrated the victory over Lazio with a tattoo based on a banner seen in De Kuip during the victory.

The phrase “I’m not going down for anyone, not for you and not for anyone else”, a quote from Rotterdam boxer Pep van Klaveren said to Al Capone before a boxing match, was seen on a banner in the stadium and De Wolf decided to get the entire phrase tattooed on his calf. Alongside a photo of the tattoo on Instagram, he wrote: “Hopefully this is not my last tattoo.”
