New Cagliari Coach Gianluca Festa says the squad must ‘believe’ they can avoid the drop with only seven games left.
The former defender replaced Zdenek Zeman this week after the Czech Coach resigned with the Isolani nine points from safety.
“I’ve done everything with Cagliari,” Festa said in his Press conference ahead of the trip to Fiorentina.
“I’ve been in the youth setup, the first team and now Serie A. I’m not worried, actually I’ve got a lot of motivation and desire to do well.

“I’ve done everything with Cagliari,” Festa said in his Press conference ahead of the trip to Fiorentina.
“I’ve been in the youth setup, the first team and now Serie A. I’m not worried, actually I’ve got a lot of motivation and desire to do well.
“The President has asked me to try and save the situation, to rekindle a flame of hope, and the squad wants to do that.
“The important thing is that the team is free mentally, so we can do our best, and at this point we can’t be afraid of anything.
“The ones who play will be those who show me that they believe.”
