Sassuolo and Frosinone appear to have missed out on Facundo Ferreyra, as the Benfica striker is heading to RSC Anderlecht.
According to Sky Sport Italia, the Serie A clubs were thwarted in their negotiations, although the Neroverdi were the only ones genuinely close to a deal.
Anderlecht dived in with a proposal and are expected to sign Ferreyra on loan for 18 months at a cost of €1.5m.
