“Aurelio [De Laurentiis, Napoli President] hasn’t called me for Muriel because the player is not for sale,” Ferrero said on Radio Crc.
“At the moment I’ll hold on tight to him and stay calm given that De Laurentiis hasn’t called me.
“To think, when Muriel wasn’t playing they wanted to give me €15m for him, when I paid €12m, but I said no.
“Muriel has a clause of €35m, but De Laurentiis is a magician of clauses.
“I’d take Gabbiadini back right away, he’s a great player, a great lad and he’s grown a lot. Then, like all lads, he has five wheels and sometimes he crashes.
“These lads have to be motivated, valued and defended, especially those like Gabbiadini who need to score the goals.”
