Sampdoria President Massimo Ferrero is “dumbfounded” by Josip Ilicic – “before being footballers, you must be men”.
The Slovenian international appeared set to join the Blucerchiati from Fiorentina, but he changed his mind at the last minute and is now heading to Atalanta.
“I remain dumbfounded,” Ferrero told Alfredo Pedulla’s website.
“I wish Atalanta and Mr Ilicic all the best, but before being footballers you have to be men.
