Sampdoria President Massimo Ferrero says he wants to partner Samuel Eto’o with Liverpool’s Mario Balotelli.
The striker has endured a difficult season at Anfield, scoring just once in his 16 Premier League appearances.
“Balotelli is a great name,” Ferrero told Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli.
“He’d suit a lot of teams. I’d take him at Sampdoria in a heartbeat. A partnership of Eto’o-Balotelli would be fantastic.”

The colourful President was less forthcoming, however, on the future of Coach Sinisa Mihajlovic.
“The season is still going on and nothing is certain. Mihajlovic is not mine, like a belt would be. I don’t own people, so I can’t predict his future.”
