Ferrari: ‘Milan dangerous also without Ibra’

Gian Marco Ferrari claims Milan are a dangerous side also without Zlatan Ibrahimovic and insists Sassuolo deserve to fight for a Champions League spot.

The Neroverdi host Milan at the Mapei Stadium today, the game kicks off at 14.00 GMT, with the Rossoneri who are without the injured Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

“They are a great team, also without him, they’ve proved it with this recent streak,” the Italian defender told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Rossoneri are the only unbeaten team in Serie A together with Juventus, but Sassuolo can move two points behind them with a win today.

“We deserve to be there,” Ferrari insisted.

“We don’t set limits, we only think about winning every game.

“We are reaping the rewards of hour labour, but we still need to improve on a mental level but we manage games better than what we used to do last season, even when we don’t play too well.”

What’s Sassuolo’s secret?

“The fun, the pleasure of playing, including for us defenders. Our DNA is always the same, we are recognizable by our style, but we have learned to insert the nuances that make us become unpredictable.”
