Roberto Mancini has called Sassuolo defender Gian Marco Ferrari as an additional member of Italy’s Euro 2020 preliminary squad.

He becomes the 34th player to be brought in to the training camp at the Forte Village in Sardinia.

Ferrari is expected to arrive tomorrow morning.

The defender just turned 29 and has been called up by Italy before, but is yet to receive a cap.

He made 34 Serie A appearances for Sassuolo this season, contributing five assists.
