The Chilean midfielder has joined the Rossoneri on a season-long loan from Fiorentina, but picked up a muscular injury while representing his country.
Having arrived at Linate airport this afternoon, the 30-year-old spoke briefly to assembled fans and media.
“I’m very happy to be here,” Fernandez assured.
