The FIGC is currently meeting with the clubs to settle the regulations for the resumption and the proposal raised to only relegate two teams from Serie A this campaign.

The Rossoblu CEO has claimed the teams are trying to complete the current championship and points out that the Federcalcio chief Gabriele Gravina should have the final word.

“This was a common position expressed by the whole League. We felt it was right to adapt to the majority,” he told Radio Anch’io Sport. “The goal is to complete the championship.

“If it’s not possible, the League has expressed the principle of preserving sporting merit.

“In my opinion, I think it’s up to the President of the Federcalcio to find a compromise between the parties. Maybe there could also be a play-off between the third to bottom in Serie A and the third place in Serie B, like they do in Germany.”

Fenucci reveals that he hopes to see individual quarantines for the positive cases after the resumption.

“We have to find the right conditions to complete the championship. In other countries this problem has been solved.

“In Italy, the data seems positive and I hope that we can move on to individual quarantines, also considering the swab tests made every four days by the various clubs.

“I believe there are the conditions to change this and to complete the championship.”

Bologna currently sit 10th in the League and Fenucci confirms that Sinisa Mihajlovic will be offered a long-term deal at the Renato Dall’Ara.

“We would like that, that’s our wish. We are thinking about a long-term plan with Sinisa, we want to work with him for a long period and he told us that he wants to stay for many years.

“We will see if we can extend the contract soon.”
