Leonardo Bonucci is looking for a way out of Union Berlin and has reportedly attracted the attention of Fenerbahce.

The 36-year-old Italian centre back left for the Bundesliga last summer after his contract expired with Juventus, penning a one-year deal with Union. His first half-season hasn’t been too impressive, managing just 723 minutes of action across 10 total appearances.

Although his contract expires next summer, Bonucci is keen to leave Union in the winter transfer window and recently attracted attention from Roma, who were interested in a deal before their fans made their feelings about the defender apparent.

As reported by SportItalia, Fenerbahce are interested in making a move for Bonucci this month and could come forward with an offer to Union Berlin in the coming weeks.

The 36-year-old defender has also been linked with a move to Genoa, should they sell starlet Radu Dragusin this month, and he is keen for regular playing time as he looks to join Luciano Spalletti’s Italy squad for the European Championship in the summer.
