After Stefano Pioli confirms Milan want Rade Krunic to ‘find another club,’ there are reports Fenerbahce face serious competition from Saudi Arabia, Greece and Russia.
The Bosnia and Herzegovina midfielder had been one of the key players in their squad when winning the Scudetto and offers were rejected over the summer.
However, his failure to agree a new contract and increasingly poor form have seen him placed on the market in the January window.
“It is better for him and for us if Krunic finds himself another club,” coach Pioli said in today’s press conference.
Fenerbahce have been on his trail for months, but are also refusing to pay the asking price of at least €6m.
According to Relevo transfer expert Matteo Moretto, they are still €2-3m off the figure needed to get a deal over the line, so Milan are looking to other options.
They include the Saudi Arabia alternative Al-Shabab, while Russian and Greek sides are also asking for information on Krunic’s situation.
He is now 30 years old and his contract with Milan runs to June 2025.
