Fenerbahce are interested in making a move to sign the highly-rated teenage forward Kenan Yildiz from Juventus as a replacement for Arda Guler, who officially left the club to sign for Real Madrid according to Thursday’s reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport.
A decision over Yildiz’s future will be one of the first major decisions that incoming sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli will have to make.
Yildiz, aged 18, joined Juve last summer from Bayern Munich’s academy, but has yet to register an appearance for the Bianconeri first team.
He has, however, had his first taste of senior football with Juventus’ Next Gen side, turning out on seven occasions in Serie C throughout the 2022-23 season.
Yildiz, who was born in Germany to a Turkish father and German mother, is considered to be an important part of Juve’s future plans, but his sale could raise a significant and immediate fee.
La Gazzetta dello Sport believes that Fenerbahce are prepared to offer Juventus somewhere in the region of €10m to acquire Yildiz, with the majority of funds coming from Guler’s sale to Real Madrid.
