Multiple sources in Italy report that Fenerbahce are close to securing the signature of Milan midfielder Rade Krunic after increasingly their offer with bonuses.

The midfielder is no longer part of their plans after failing to agree a contract extension and coach Stefano Pioli said in a press conference last week it was best for all concerned if he found himself a new club.

According to Sky Sport Italia and Fabrizio Romano, that is edging closer following more negotiations today with Fenerbahce.

Milan have been irritated at the Turkish club low-balling them with offers of €3-4m, whereas the asking price was closer to €6m.

Now there are differing reports on the details, as Sky Sport Italia maintain the deal will be done for €5m plus add-ons.

Romano instead suggests it is going to be €4.5m including bonuses, which is unlikely to be accepted.

Fenerbahce have already secured one new signing in the January window, bringing in Leonardo Bonucci after he terminated his Union Berlin spell early.
