Marouane Fellaini and Memphis Depay are both reportedly open to joining Milan, even without the Europa League.

The Rossoneri risk being thrown out of European competition by UEFA, as they haven’t been offered a settlement agreement on Financial Fair Play.

The failure to qualify for the Champions League could mean player sales, but the Gazzetta dello Sport believes Depay and Fellaini still want to join.

Both deals are difficult, with several clubs chasing Depay and Lyon demanding €40m to sell him.

Fellaini, meanwhile, is out of contract at Manchester United but is said to be asking for €10m per season, which would make him Milan’s highest-paid player.

Unlike Depay though, he wants to clarify his future as soon as possible and that could create room for manoeuvre.
