Felipe Melo is ‘proud of Inter’s season’, but defends Cristiano Ronaldo: ‘Wash your mouth out before criticising him.’
“Inter haven’t won the Scudetto yet, but it’s close,” Melo, a former Inter, Juventus and Fiorentina midfielder told Tuttomercatoweb.
“Mister Conte has a great team, with some excellent footballers. I am proud of what Inter are doing. Even if I played for Juventus, I am and I will always be an interista,” he added.

“Juventus remain among the top 5-6 clubs in the world, like Milan and Inter. It’s impossible to win the title every season.
“They’ve won the Scudetto for nine years in a row and reached the Champions League final twice. They are still very strong.”
Some questioned the signing of Cristiano Ronaldo, but the Brazilian disagrees.
“How can you criticise Ronaldo? He and Messi are the best players I’ve ever seen in my life.
“He is a champion, a legend, not only for Juventus but for football in general. You can’t question a player like him. Serie A is lucky to have him, who criticise him should wash his mouth.”
