Felipe Anderson is expected in Rome on Saturday to undergo his medical and complete a transfer from West Ham United to Lazio.

The Brazilian was the only outfield player not to take part in today’s 2-2 friendly draw between West Ham and Dundee this afternoon.

There are multiple reports on Sky Sport Italia, Sportitalia and Tuttomercatoweb that Felipe Anderson will be back on Italian soil on Saturday.

He’s set to have a medical and complete the low cost move to the Stadio Olimpico, where he was specifically requested by new coach Maurizio Sarri.

Lazio sold Felipe Anderson to West Ham for €38m in 2018 and the Hammers still owe €3m from that transfer.

According to Italian reports, the move will simply see Lazio cancel that €3m debt and give West Ham 50 per cent of any transfer fee they receive when selling on the 28-year-old winger.

He spent last season on loan at FC Porto and had also been linked with a return to Brazil with Flamengo.
