Felipe Anderson is reportedly close to a return to Lazio and has already called some of his former teammates at the Stadio Olimpico.

The Brazilian winger can return to Lazio for €8m and talks between the Biancocelesti and West Ham are ongoing.

Anderson spent the last season on loan at Porto and is set to return to East London, where his stay will not be long term.

The 28-year-old swapped the Biancocelesti with the Hammers in a €38m move in 2018, but he is now willing to return to the Italian Capital.

According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Anderson is so keen to return to Lazio that he has already called some of his former teammates at the Stadio Olimpico.

His agent Kia Joorabchian is expected to meet West Ham this week, while new Lazio coach Maurizio Sarri is pushing to welcome the Brazilian winger who he already wanted to sign at Napoli a few years ago.

Borussia Dortmund’s Julian Brandt is also on the Biancocelesti’s radars, but the Bundesliga giants are reportedly not convinced about selling the player on loan with an option to buy.
