The Argentina international is expected to leave in January, as he has been frozen out following a row with coach Gian Piero Gasperini.

Inter remain the favourites, followed by Milan, Napoli and Roma, while he does not seem interested in going to Qatar.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, the latest approach has been made by Jaap Stam’s FC Cincinnati, who have proposed a three-year contract for the forward.
