Former Milan CEO Marco Fassone has decided to go through with suing the club on the grounds of unfair dismissal.
Fassone was ousted in July by Elliott Management, which took control of Milan after Li Yonghong defaulted on a loan lent to him by the hedge fund.
However, ANSA reports the 54-year-old has taken his appeal to the courts, with the first hearing to be held on Wednesday.
Fassone’s lawyer Francesco Rotondi argues his dismissal was ‘retaliatory’ and is therefore asking for it to be annulled.
