There have been multiple reports in recent days that the sporting director will be sacked, rumours he did nothing to quell in an interview with Sky this week.
The pair met with Coach Gennaro Gattuso yesterday, but calciomercato.com reports that relations between the two are very frosty.
According to the website, the two barely talk these days and Mirabelli almost never goes to Casa Milan.
The source of the acrimony is believed to be a difference of opinions on how to deal with agents, in particular Mino Raiola.
Raiola represents Gianluigi Donnarumma, Ignazio Abate and Giacomo Bonaventura, but he has an openly hostile relationship with Mirabelli.
