Former Inter director Marco Fassone says ‘there is nothing concrete’ linking him to the FIGC Presidency.
The former director general at Inter and Napoli has been tipped as a possible successor to Carlo Tavecchio, who Fassone praised in today’s interview.
"At the moment I'm enjoying a little bit of football without the stress of 90 minutes as a director, it’s great but also terrible,” Fassone said to Radio 24.

"At the moment I'm enjoying a little bit of football without the stress of 90 minutes as a director, it’s great but also terrible,” Fassone said to Radio 24.
“Me as President of the FIGC? There is nothing concrete, at the moment I haven’t received even half of a phone call from anyone.
“The FIGC should move forward more, in recent years it’s been too inhibited, it needs to return to being the driving force of Italian football.
“Beyond the errors of communication, Tavecchio has done very well as President, he has brought forward solid reforms.”
