Milan CEO Marco Fassone confirmed they are “in advanced talks” with Fiorentina for Nikola Kalinic, wouldn’t rule out Zlatan Ibrahimovic or “another gift.”
The Rossoneri crushed Shkendja 6-0 in the first leg of the Europa League play-off this evening.
“There’s no point denying we have been negotiating for Kalinic for a long time. We are in advanced talks,” Fassone told reporters in the mixed zone at San Siro.

He was asked about M’Baye Niang’s apparent refusal to join Spartak Moscow for €18m.
“Just as there are players coming in, some have asked to leave. (Director of sport Massimiliano) Mirabelli is working on the exit operations, that is all I can say.”
Tonight Mirabelli was spotted talking to agent Mino Raiola who, among others, also represents Ibrahimovic. Did they talk about Zlatan?
“I don’t know, he had a meeting with Mirabelli, not with me. He will have talked about his clients and their future.
“Will there be another gift? The fans are happy with what we are doing. We’ve had a chance over the last few days to consider what is still missing and we’re seeking it without haste.
“If the right opportunity comes up, then we’ll take it, otherwise we are competitive as we are.”
