On New Year’s Eve he was attacked by a group of five men who stole his scooter.
Italian authorities have already identified and arrested them as a resident shot a video of the incident that became viral in Italy.

A crowdfunding campaign has been set up on GoFoundMe and according to several reports in Italy, Fares has contributed with a donation of €2.500.
The campaign’s target was €5.000, it has reached over €10.000 in just a few hours.
Lanciano continued his shift using his daughter’s car that night.
“I tried to defend something belonging to my family,” he said.
“I am moved, but I do not want to take advantage of the goodness of the Neapolitan citizens.”
Napoli fans have congratulated Fares with several messages posted on his Instagram account.
