Hundreds of Barcelona fans are commenting on Sofyan Amrabat’s latest Instagram post, welcoming him to the club, but Fiorentina are unwilling to sell.
The La Liga giants have made an offer to sign the Morocco international on loan with an option to buy.
The ex-Hellas Verona midfielder didn’t train this morning and appeared to be pushing for a transfer to Nou Camp through his Instagram stories.
Hundreds of Barcelona fans have stepped in, asking Amrabat to join the club on social media. Many of them have commented on his latest Instagram post, writing ‘please come to Barcelona’ and even ‘welcome to Barcelona.’
However, the Viola are unwilling to sell their star on the deadline day, especially under Barcelona’s terms.
Amrabat’s contract at the Stadio Artemio Franchi expires in June 2024, but Fiorentina have a clause to extend his contract at the club by one more season.
The 26-year-old joined Fiorentina from Hellas Verona for €20m, including add-ons in 2020 and has scored one goal in 79 appearances with the Tuscans.
