It’s reported seven people have been stopped by police and could be fined or even banned from stadiums after setting off fireworks ahead of the Supercoppa JuventusNapoli.

The fireworks appeared over the Curva Nord of the Mapei Stadium in Reggio Emilia just before kick-off last night.

Just like the ones that delayed kick-off of Inter-Juventus last week, these were unauthorised and set off by fans who couldn’t attend the game behind closed doors.

The fireworks appeared over the Curva Nord of the Mapei Stadium in Reggio Emilia just before kick-off last night.

Just like the ones that delayed kick-off of Inter-Juventus last week, these were unauthorised and set off by fans who couldn’t attend the game behind closed doors.

According to Tuttosport, that was the inspiration for the seven youths who were chased across a field and caught by police on Wednesday.

It remains to be seen if they’ll be fined or even given a DASPO – ban from sporting events.
