Iago Falque says he is confident of signing a new contract with Torino and ‘winning things’ at the club.
Falque has posted the best numbers of his career in two years at Toro, and the winger made it clear he was committed to the Granata, despite speculation linking him with a return to Spain last summer.
“I think that sooner or later it’ll be done,” he said at a Press conference.

“I’m happy. I want to stay here, the club want to focus on me. I want to win things, I’m 28 and I’m playing the best football of my career: I can do it here.
“It’s too bad that we lost against Parma. We were finding consistency and losing at home just before an international break isn’t nice.
“We’ve rested for three days and recharged our batteries. Now we must look forward.
“Against Parma we weren’t able to manage the negative moments, but we’ll have to against Cagliari.
“They’re a good team and they have Pavoletti, but I’ll stick with Belotti. N’Koudou? He’s worthy of the Ballon d’Or! I struggle to think of defenders as good as him.
“Ronaldo or Messi for the Ballon d’Or? Messi without a doubt.”
