“It’s a dream come true, I am excited and playing against an Italian club makes everything much more special,” the 29-year-old told Minuti di Recupero.

“Belgrade is such a nice city, Red Star are a top club. Stankovic has personality, he is a winner who always demands the best," he continued.

“I’ve started my career from a small town in Puglia and I will play in Europa League tomorrow, it’s not something that happens everyday. I am proud of what I’ve done.

“I think we can beat Milan,” he claimed.

“We have a good squad, we are strong and ambitious, with a great club supporting us, we never give up.”

Falco played with several Italian clubs including Bologna, Pescara, Benevento, Lecce and Perugia.

“I hope I can take my revenge, because Serie A clubs didn’t believe in me," he said.

"I stayed at Bologna until there was Delio Rossi, who I can only thank. I had played nine games out of 10. Then Donadoni arrived and I don’t know what happened. He didn’t rely on me. I can say he didn’t behave too well with me."
