Roma legend Paulo Roberto Falcao met his ex-teammate Carlo Ancelotti at Real Madrid earlier this week: ‘A professional exchange.’

The ex-Brazil international was at Madrid’s training centre Valdebebas a few days ago to follow a training session of the La Liga giants under his friend and former teammate Ancelotti.

They have both made history at Roma, winning the first-ever Serie A title in the club’s history in 1982-83.

“I have always wanted to remain updated on what happens in football in Brazil and the world,” the ex-Brazilian star wrote on Instagram, sharing a picture with the Real Madrid boss.

“I am making a professional exchange, as I have always been a coach, to exchange experiences with great icons, friends and protagonists of this sport.

“This time, I am with Carlo Ancelotti, who needs no introduction. One of the ten best coaches in football history, according to France Football. The coach with the most UEFA Champions League victoreis (4 times) and UEFA interclub tournaments (8 times).

“Carlo, it is always fascinating to exchange experiences with you, with whom I’ve been sharing my passion for football for many years. I hope my insights can be as useful to you as yours are to me.”

Ancelotti has become the first coach to win the domestic title in each of Europe’s top five leagues (Italy, Spain, Germany, England and France) as well as the coach with the most Champions League wins.

He signed a three-year deal with the Merengues last week but has recently revealed that he will retire at the end of the current spell with the La Liga giants.
